Sleep Healing

Science shows that we recover and are actually able to heal in our sleep. 

Poor sleep leads to poor health. Our bodies cannot recover, our brains cannot recover, so in the end our bodies get stuck in an unhealthy routine leading to poor health. The American Heart Association says that sleep could be the key to unlock a healthier you (website of the American Heart Association). They say that for an optimal cardiovascular health an adult should sleep between 7-9 hours per night. Children need more sleep. If you need too little or too much sleep, this is associated with heart disease, studies show. Sleep is not only important for your cardiovascular health, it is also helping in avoiding depression, increases your mental health and your brain functionality. Sleep is key for your cognitive function, mental acuity and the ability to concentrate and learn new things. During sleep your brain is processing the information received during the day. The American Heart Association says “it consolidates memories and clears plaque-forming amyloids and tau proteins associated with Alzheimer’s disease (website of the American Heart Association). The brain gets cleaned up during sleep. Especially the REM phase of the sleep (the rapid eye movement sleep) enhances learning, memory and emotional well-being. 

A proper sleep helps you to avoid anxiety or depression, as shown in studies. Also, insomnia and the inability to sleep is contributing to various health conditions. 

Sleep aids usually are not the solution. They can be a short time solution. However, you will have to deal with what keeps you from sleeping at the same time. The work I am doing will help you to deal with your issues so you can have a proper and regular sleep, so you can be healthy, free and happy.

I am happy to share my playlist for a good sleep meditation. There are studies that when you listen to a tape of a foreign language in your sleep you start to learn the language. The same goes for relaxing music that can relax you during sleep and heal you eventually. This is why you can use this music to do a sleep meditation and heal. A proper sleep helps you to avoid anxiety or depression, as shown in studies.
